Hi Green Party folks,

You are all invited to the "Unite to Fight Global Warming" rally, co-sponsored by the Sierra Club, League of Women Voters, Council of Churches of Santa Clara County, and Silicon Valley Leadership Group. This is your chance to visually show your elected officials that you want to see action on global warming. You'll also learn how to get plugged in and take action right in your own town. I've been working feverishly on this event for months now, and I'd love to see some of you there!

Dear Friend of the Environment,
Did you see that Al Gore' movie "The Inconvenient Truth" won an Oscar on Monday? Global Warming is finally reaching the mainstream and people like you are making a big difference. Dozens of local citizens are working with "Cool Cities" across the Silicon Valley and Peninsula region to promote local solutions to reduce harmful global warming emissions. We're holding our kick-off rally on Sunday March 18, 2007 in Redwood City with Sierra Club Executive Director Carl Pope.

Can you join us?
When: Sunday March 18, 2007
2:30 PM - 4:30 PM
Where: Historic Carrington Hall
Sequoia High School
1201 Brewster Avenue
Redwood City, CA

Can you join us
for the big global
warming kick-off rally?

If you can't attend the
rally, can you sign the
petition asking local
leaders to take action
on global warming?
