WASHINGTON, DC -- The Green Party of the United States will host an online
Livestream on Election Night, discussing Green campaigns and reporting
election results as they are announced.  The public is invited to participate
and join in a live chat during the Livestream.

The Livestream will be hosted by Green Party media coordinator Starlene Rankin
in Sacramento, California, and Craig Seeman in New York City.  Ms. Rankin and
Mr. Seeman will interview Green candidates, at their Election Night parties,
and pass along reports about the campaigns.  The Livestream will begin at 8 pm
ET, 5 pm PT.

Below is a list of Green candidates to watch on Election Day, including Greens
with a good chance of victory, Greens whose campaigns will help their state
Green Parties achieve or maintain ballot status, and other significant races.

ARKANSAS

• Joy Ballard is running for Saline County Collector, against six write-in
candidates (open seat in a partisan race).

• Jim Lendall, running for governor, needs 3% for the ballot line, against two
other candidates.

• Gary Blenner is running for reelection to Center Unified School District
Board of Trustees, Placer County (five candidates for three seats in a
nonpartisan race)

• Bruce Delgado is running for reelection to Marina City Mayor, Monterey
County, with one opponent in a nonpartisan race.

• Robert Deutsch is running for reelection to Board of Directors, Alameda
Healthcare District (four candidates for three seats in a nonpartisan race).

• Paul Franklin is running for reelection to Live Oak School District School
Board, Santa Cruz County (four candidates for three seats in a nonpartisan race).

• Dan Hamburg is running for Mendocino County Board of Supervisors, District
5.  Mr. Hamburg finished first of four candidates in the primary with 34 % of
the vote.  Two candidates rare running for one seat in a nonpartisan race.

• Gayle McLaughlin is running for reelection to Mayor of Richmond, Contra
Costa County. She has two opponents in a nonpartisan race.  Richmond is a city
with a population over 100,000.

• Lisa Stephens is running for reelection to Berkeley Rent Stabilization
Board, Alameda County (nine candidates for six seats in a nonpartisan race).

• Jesse Townley is running for reelection to Berkeley Rent Stabilization
Board, Alameda County (nine candidates for six seats in a nonpartisan race).

• Pam Webster is running for reelection to Berkeley Rent Stabilization Board,
Alameda County. (nine candidates for six seats in a nonpartisan race).

CONNECTICUT

• Megan Cassano is running for Board of Education, Stamford, Fairfield County
(eight candidates for three seats in a partisan race).

• Jane Weston is running for Judge of Probate, Stamford, Fairfield County (two
candidates for one seat in a partisan race).

• Jane Weston is running for Registrar of Voters, Weston, Fairfield County
(partisan race).

DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA

• David Schwartzman is running for City Council At-large (four candidates for
two seats in a partisan race).  1% in a citywide race will retain ballot
status for the DC Statehood Green Party.

• JB Shoatz is running unopposed for Advisory Neighborhood Commission SMD 8B04
(nonpartisan race).

• Rick Tingling-Clemmons is running for reelection to Advisory Neighborhood
Commission SMD 7D05, with two challengers (nonpartisan race).

HAWAII

• Jim Brewer is running for US Senate.  10% any statewide office will give the
Green Party ballot status.

ILLINOIS

• Jeremy Karpen for State Representative District 39 (two candidates for one
seat in a partisan race).

endorsement.

• Maria Allwine is running for Governor, against four other candidates.  1%
for in the gubernatorial race will retain the Green Party's ballot status.

• Jill Stein is running for Governor, against three other candidates.  3% in
any statewide race will win a ballot line for the Green-Rainbow Party.

MINNESOTA

• Farheen Hakeem is running for Governor, against six other candidates.  5% in
any statewide race will win ballot access for the Green Party.

• Tim Dehne is running for Benton County Commissioner Position 1 (three
candidates for one seat in a partisan race).  Mr. Dehne served as a Benton
County Soil and Water Conservation District Director from 2005-2008.
