Green Party of California announces
ELECTION NIGHT parties
SACRAMENTO – Green Party of California candidates and party officials
will be available to comment on election results of the state
propositions and candidate races Tuesday night at "Green Election Night"
parties in Southern and Northern California.
Greens have 34 candidates vying for local, state and federal offices,
including an incumbent mayor of Richmond (Gayle McLaughlin) and Laura
Wells, the party's gubernatorial candidate arrested earlier this month
for attempting to simply watch a debate.

WASHINGTON, DC -- Green Party candidates and leaders will participate in an
online Livestream hosted by the Green Party of the United States on Election
Night, discussing Green campaigns and reporting election results as they are
announced.
The public is invited to join in a live chat during the Livestream
(http://www.livestream.com/greenpartyus). A Green Party Twitter Feed page
(http://www.gp.org/elections/results-2010.php) will display election news and
returns, with feeds from the party itself, Green Pages
(http://gp.org/greenpages-blog), and Green Change (http://www.greenchange.org).
The Livestream will be hosted by Green Party media coordinator Starlene Rankin
in Sacramento, California, and Craig Seeman in New York City. Ms. Rankin and
Mr. Seeman will interview Green candidates, at their Election Night parties,
and pass along reports about the campaigns. The Livestream will begin at 8 pm
ET, 5 pm PT.
