California is calling Congress to End the War
 
On July 23-26, people in all of California’s Congressional districts will
be picking up their phones, dialing 202-224-3121 and asking their
Congressional representatives to end the war on Iraq and bring all the
troops home.   The effort is being organized though a coordinated effort
of dozens of peace organizations across the entire state of California.

In El Dorado County, all those who wish to see the U S occupation end
will be calling throughout the week to Congressman Doolittle's 
Washington D.C. Office at 202-225-2511 and to the Granite Bay 
district office at 916-786-5560 or 800-232-1336.  
 
The California Calling coordinating effort was initiated at the United
for Peace and Justice national meeting in Chicago in June, 2007.  The
focus is to put pressure on Congress in July/August/September leading up
to the September war votes.
