First, we’ll watch Bill Moyers Journal story about health care and money… here’s the intro, spoken by Bill on 18 Dec, 2009:
“Something’s not right here. One year after the great collapse of ourfinancial system, Wall Street is back on top while our politiciansdither. As for health care reform, you’re about to be forced to buyinsurance from companies whose stock is soaring, and that’s just dandywith the White House.”
After the short film, Bill Balderston,Green candidate for California Insurance Commissioner, will lead adiscussion about health care and other issues that affect allCalifornians.
Bill is a longtime activist with Vote Health.He is also a former Oakland Education Association Executive BoardMember and a former State Council Member with the California TeachersAssociation (CTA).
