CAMPAIGN UPDATE

By California Green Party Gubernatorial Candidate Deacon Alexander

Los Angeles, California

February 16, 2010

Hello California Green Party members!

As of Tuesday February 16, 137 Green Party voters are confirmed to have
signed petitions to put me on ballot for California Governor. This very day,
I turned into LA County Registrar 26 additional signatures, to well over 150
required for this race.  This was accomplished because Greens, from San
Diego to OC, from Long Beach to Sylmar, from Alameda to San Mateo, from
Contra Costa to Sacramento, all did their parts to secure a New Green
Revolution!

My eternal gratitude goes to Will Yeager, to Interim Campaign Director Sandy
Stiassni, to countless others who believed in me, in themselves, and
believed in the power of a New Green Party, for what appears to be an
important First Step toward my being on the ballot for California Governor
in June.

I continue to call upon all California Greens to participate in my campaign,
to build a better, stronger, more sustainable New Green Party. Instead of
only being the party of great ideas, I challenge you to create a New Green
Party of activism!   We started this campaign on Skid Row, and will end it
in Skid Row. Please join me for what promises to be a wonderful, historic
