[Sosfbay-discuss] More great news before Labor Day

Dear Senator Boxer,

If the Democrats you cite were all Barbara Boxers I would celebrate
your news.

The problem is, there are too few Democrats that value people,
whatever their financial class, over the new toxic form of capitalism.

Coupled with this is the problem of our antiquated two-party, winner-
take-all political system that has poisoned our democracy, our civil
rights, and our safety net for all the people.

I wish you well, as I believe that YOU do what you can against the
entrenchment in Washington, D.C., but I hold little hope for those
unfortunate people in these brutal times who find themselves outside
the privileged financial class.

Sincerely,
Andrea Dorey

"We can have concentrated wealth in the hands of a few or we can have
democracy, but we cannot have both."
---Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis
