Here's the notice (slightly altered) as it appears in the Bay Area
Progressive Directory ( http://BAPD.org ).  Its also in the Global
Exchange calender, and going in the Code Pink calender not to mention
many local calenders.  We're hard at work getting out the word, so
please join with us in publicizing and joining us at this fantastic
opportunity to meet our 2006 GPCA candidates!

"Meet the CA Green Party Candidates" in Mountain View,

The Green Party of Santa Clara County is sponsoring a free public event
to stimulate public interest, support and donations for our statewide, 
regional and local Green Party candidates running for election on Nov.
7. 

Speakers include Todd Chretien for U.S. Senator, Peter Miguel Camejo
for Governor, Donna Warren for Lt. Governor, Forrest Hill for Secretary
of State, Methul Thakker for Treasurer, Michael (Mike) Wyman for
Attorney General, Laura Wells for Controller, Larry Cafiero for
Insurance Commissioner, Carol Brouillet for Cong. (14th Dist. v Anna
Eshoo) and Tian Harter a "Green" nonpartison candidate for the Mountain
View City Council.  Carol Brouillet and Tian Harter will serve as
Program Co-Hosts.

When: Oct. 3rd, 2006. 6:45 
Where: (Disabled Accessible) Mtn View Historic Adobe Building

Directions & Parking: The event will take place at the Mountain View
Historic Adobe Building, 157 Moffett Boulevard, on the northeast corner
of Moffett Blvd. and the Central Expressway - directly across from the
Mountain View CalTrain and VTA Light Rail Station!  

Parking: There are 3 bike loops on the south side of the building.  Car
parking is available in the parking lot across Moffett, and along the
east side of Moffett Blvd.  There is also a small parking lot behind
the Adobe Bldg.

Program Schedule: The event will begin with a Reception at 6:45 pm. 
Light refreshments and non alcohol beverages will be served, and music
will be provided. At 7:30 the candidates will begin speaking. From 9:00
to 9:30 there will be opportunities for Questions & Answers and
Discussion.

Some  "Green Friendly" organizations will be invited to place their 
literature on tables placed outside on the Plaza.
