[Sosfbay-discuss] Nader and other stuff

I'm surprised that people are STILL hung up about the 2000 elections. By focusing on Nader, the Democrats have yet again failed to address the real problems highlighted in 2000: the disenfranchisement of thousands of Floridian voters (predominately African-American) and the fact that the United States still does not allow its people to directly elect the head of state. How can we promote democracy abroad if we don't even practice democracy at home?

On a completely unrelated note, if you know anybody who is under 30 and is a registered Green, we're trying to get the Youth Caucus going. We are looking for 100 members before we can approve bylaws, so if you can forward the following info to those interested, that'd be great!
