Unfortunately we didn't even oppose Lantos in 2006.  The Repub was
actually an interesting and fairly green kinda guy but got zero support
from the Repubs (because as with Feinstein Lantos might as well be a
Repub so its counterproductive from their cynical scheming point of
view to run against their wolfish Repub in Sheepish Dem clothing).
