Dear Greens,

At the July 7th GPSCC County General meeting the North
Valley Local was affirmed.  NoVa will still need to
elect someone to be the liaison with the County
Council and make sure to record minutes of all
official business meetings.

I have transcribed the text of the petition that Fred
submitted on behalf of NoVa submitted below:

Petition to establish a LOCAL in North Santa Clara
County

To the Green Party Members of Santa Clara County
present at the July 7, 2007 membership meeting:

Whereas, there are Green Party of Santa Clara County
(GPSCC) members who wish to form a subsidiary LOCAL in
the general area of Los Altos, Los Altos Hills,
Mountain View, Palo Alto and Sunnyvale, we registered
GPSCC members, hereby, petition the GPSCC to formally
approve the establishment of such a local
organization.
