Job Title: Website Manager

Job Description
Responsible for maintaining and updating the website
for the Green Party of the United States. This is a
part-time contractor position.

Job Tasks
Working with the staff and Steering Committee of the
Green Party, the website manager will ensure timely
posting of all materials on the website, including
press releases, news items, candidate news and
promotions, multimedia files, email and take action
campaigns, and all other related functions of the
website. Specifically, the website manager will also
be responsible for overseeing the re-building of the
current website design within a Content Management
System.

Required Skills
XHTML/CSS and other webpage programming skills such as
perl, PHP, Javascript and other related scripting
languages; mySQL and/or other database applications;
Experience using and customizing Content Management
Software; Experience maintaining a website for a
medium-to-large sized organization; Ability to manage
multiple tasks and work as an intermediary between
several different persons and organizational
functions; Some professional experience with graphic
design and marketing is a definite plus
