I have some quibbles with what you say here, but I
basically agree.

When I compare how many people in history have risked
their lives to fight their own governments for what
they believe in, and how Americans won't fight when
it is relatively safe, I really wonder what is going on.
One possible explanation I have heard is that Madison
Avenue (advertising / PR firms) have perfected propoganda
way past the Nazis. But still ...

I wish it was that simple.

I agree with that.

For some reason, I am reminded of what someone said
about how there are 4 things that are needed in order
to accomplish something.

- The desire to accomplish something

- The will to pursue it

- The knowledge of how to accomplish it

- The means (tools/strength/money) to accomplish it

I am not going to weep over this. I am just
grateful that Cindy has done what she did.
And I am glad that she showed the sense to quit
when she did. Apparently her fight has taken a
much greater toll than one individual should
suffer.

And maybe I have more sympathy that I would if I
had not been part of the GPCA CC for 4 years.
