Many of us California Greens have been anxiously awaiting Cynthia’s return
to her natural home in the Green Party, and we now believe that with some
heartfelt encouragement, the time is near. Consequently, the (informal)
Draft Cynthia McKinney for the GPCA Presidential Primary Ballot Committee is
happy to invite all Greens and the Green-friendly to “Meet Cynthia
McKinney Week” in the San Francisco Bay Area from October 4th to 7th. And
it is also happy to announce the launch of its (almost completed)
website, “http://www.RunCynthiaRun.com”.

Please attend one or more of our events and meet the delightful and
courageous former Congresswoman from Georgia, watch the acclaimed
documentary “American Blackout”, listen to Ms. McKinney’s bold ideas on
governance, ask challenging questions, and bring your checkbook to donate to
her upcoming campaign to be America’s First Green President!

1- Thursday, October 4th, 6:30 to 9:00 PM, at the West Oakland
Public Library, 1801 Adeline (@18th St.), Oakland, CA. Ms. McKinney will
speak and respond to questions. Hosted by Wilson Riles, former Oakland City
Council member and mayoral candidate in 2004 (v. Jerry Brown). Expect the
press.

2- Friday, October 5th, 6:00 to 9:00 PM, at the Berkeley Fellowship
of Unitarian Universalists Hall, 1924 Cedar (@Bonita), Berkeley, CA.
“American Blackout” will be shown, and Ms. McKinney will speak and respond
to questions. Mistress of Ceremonies to be announced, but hopefully Aimee
Allison, former Green candidate for Oakland City Council.

3- Saturday, October 6th, exciting day and evening events in San
Francisco will be announced soon.

4- Sunday, October 7th, 11:00 AM, “Impeach at the Beach” #4, at
Cesar Chavez Park in the Berkeley Marina. Cynthia McKinney, first Member of
the House to file impeachment proceedings against George Bush, will join
Cindy Sheehan and 1500 other Californians to chat, sing, and hang out while
helicopters survey from overhead.

Please also visit our website, sign in as an endorser for Cynthia, make a
pledge of time and money, and make friendly suggestions. Other “Cynthia
McKinney Week” events and locations will be posted to the website as they
are confirmed. See you there!

Committee,
