To the North Valley Greens and to their Santa Clara County Green Comrades:

In about 51 hours the WE the PEOPLE speaker-forum on "What to do when 
your government isn't listening," will convene.  More than 1000 fliers 
have been strategically  distributed, with the last 100 to be handed out 
tomorrow.  (A number of people have already indicated they will  be there.)

If you plan to bring fruit, nuts or finger desserts, please let me know 
so we will have some idea on how much more  will be needed, if any.  I 
think the attendance count will be between 25 and 50 people.

While handing out fliers, I noticed that people were more willing to 
accept a flier when I would remark, "Here's an invitation to an upcoming 
CIVIL RIGHTS event."
"Civil Rights" sparked their attention.

I think it has been the most readily received flier I've handed out in 
several years.
