[Sosfbay-discuss] Why i WILL be going to the protest march on Saturday October 27

I like your approach Eden. While it may not accomplish everything
participating in demonstrations IMO is still a very important part of
building a more citizen-based democracy. I like that you have a
future-focus by asking the question 'what will be our next step?' I think
its time for us to get creative about new ways of empowering grass roots
democracy. Many great ideas have been advanced over the years and now its
time for us to move on putting them into place.

Will you be going with the group leaving from the San Jose Peace Center (
http://www.sanjosepeace.org )?

I'm about to post the new GP-US media advisory about the 27th action which
I want everyone to notice, I got our own county party's participation in
the 27th event mentioned. Our own Merriam Kathaleen has been a key
organizer for putting together the Oct 27th South Bay Coalition that is
organizing rides. I know other of our Greens have helped publicize it too
including Carol Brouillet, Brian Good, Catherine Curtis, Charlotte Casey,
etc., etc.

Many of us will be there on the 27th. :-)

Green is Future Focused!

"Peaceable: the ability to interact peacefully. A skill set similar to
social or emotional intelligence that is unfortunately rare in today's
American culture, but can be developed by all. The Green Parties need to
lead the way in Peaceableness."
