This from the Veterans for Peace:
Forum at Moffett field on Tuesday January 22-nd re treatment of veterans
at 10 am.

This is being forwarded to you on behalf of Terry McKinney, the
President of the United Veterans Council of Santa Cruz. Thank you for
helping veterans. Peace, Daniel Young

We are always looking to add more to our list...so please feel free to
let someone know about this collaboration to lift the voices of our
veterans and their families.

The CA Statewide Collaborative will meet at 10 am on Tuesday, Jan 22 at the
Moffett Field Clubhouse. We will meet until noon.

Light refreshments are served and if you would like to bring some drinks
or food, please let me know. Sharing is always appreciated.

The purpose of this statewide Collaborative is to be a strong voice
advocating for a wholistic, compassionate, continuum of services,
treatment and care for our veterans and their families.

It provides a forum to share information and education, raise awareness,
and promote strategic partnerships that will streamline and improve
access to health and human services for our veterans and their families.

We have Kathy Pearce from Arizona and Vicky Field from Texas as special
guests and presenters. Both Kathy and Vicky are mothers of severely
injured OIF soldiers and both are Department of Defense Advocates,
Military Severely Injured Representatives and Kathy also is with the
Heroes to Hometowns Program.
Kathy's son is Brent Bretz and Vicky's son is Chad Snowden.

From US 101 take the Moffett/NASA Parkway exit, then turn right and
proceed through the security gate where you will need to show a driver's
license and tell them you are going to the Clubhouse for the
Collaborative meeting.

Make a right turn at the first circle and the Clubhouse will be on the
right side of the street on Westcoat Road. Green and white banners
advertising the facilities will mark the way. The Clubhouse is Building
#48 and is adobe red with white pillars. Parking is close by. A marque
is in front with "Westcoat Village at Moffett Field". Chaplain Fred
Tittle's phone will be on, in case you get lost. You can reach him at
609 802 3492.
