Hi Folks,

Recently, I received from Common Cause of California a newsletter
containing a petition for the California Voters FIRST initiative that
they hope to place on the November 2008 ballot.  It's a plan for fair
redistricting.  It seems like something Greens would likely support.

California Voters FIRST is will create a truly independent and open
citizen's commission to draw legislative districts, putting an end to
political gerrymandering. 

Sign up now to volunteer with the California Voters FIRST Campaign! We
need help gathering petition signatures, talking to other organizations
and just spreading the word! Please let us know how you can help!

If you'd like to collect petitions and you have a printer can print on
legal size paper and on both sides of the page, please email us at
ca-info at commoncause.org and we will email you a petition to print out.
