During a teleconference of California GPUS Delegates last  Tuesday evening, 
there was consensus to try to reserve a block of rooms at a  hostel called 
Arlington House located about five miles from the convention  site.  It was 
reported that there could be as many as 33 rooms each with  two beds (but varying 
bathroom amenities -- worse case dormitory style showers)  for $70-$80 per night 
per room (pricing needed clarification).  Public  transportation was reported 
available by bus from the hostel, although the need  for a transfer was 
unclear.  People interested in reserving or sharing one  of those rooms should
