[Sosfbay-discuss] Election Night Party

I spent the afternoon going up one side of Murphy Street in downtown
Sunnyvale and down the other. There are lots of restaurants that will
be glad to host us if we are willing to spend $15/head for food at the
event. The coffee shop will do it just if we promise to not bring in
food, and make everybody get something.

I rode up De Anza to Fremont, and it seemed like a desert. I got to
wondering how anybody without a car would get there. I would reccomend
Murphy St. over that area. Caltrain at least serves that place.

Then I started wondering if anybody that lives in Peter's District has
a clubhouse or large back yard we could use for a potluck type event?
I think we can expect 30 to 50 people (Peter's campaign alone is 20
volunteers and family and friends), and we should have access to the
space from about 7 PM to maybe 11 PM.

I still have about 120 "POWER TO THE PEOPLE - McKinney 2008" stickers.
October's First Friday in San Jose: I showed Melanie an Alaska quarter.
