Wes raises an important issue: checking books out of the library is much Greener than buying a book you're only going to read once. Unfortunately, authors are not paid for the number of times their books are checked out. And not being paid does not encourage people to write more books. By all means, read library books. But, if you're impressed and you want to keep the message moving, send the author $5.
