                *A Suggested 1st Draft of a Possible GPSCC Resolution
Regarding the U.S. - Afghanistan War*

*Considering *the great human and economic sacrifices the escalation of
U.S. military aggression in Afghanistan has and will cause;

*Also considering *the dangerously huge Multi-trillion Dollar deficit
that is and will affect the U.S. and the whole world;

*Informed *by polls showing that the majority of Afghanis and Americans
don't want the U.S. occupying Afghanistan;

*Of the belief* that war solutions usually result in tragic results;

*Being cognizant* that President Obama's foreign relations team is top
heavy with military brass;

*Believing *that the leaders and personnel of Al Cuieda are not just
inhabiting Afghanistan ad Pakistan;

*After realizing* that war with Afghanistan will cause more problems
than it will solve:

*The Green Party of Santa Clara County declares* that U.S. President
Obama and the Congress must reverse the U.S's. aggressive
military occupancy of Afghanistan by completely withdrawing the American
troops within the span of 24 months, beginning in April 2010 .

*Furthermore,* the G.P.S.C.C insists that Congress and President Obama
take the proper action to greatly phase down the U.S. Military and
Defense Budgets and the number of troops by 55%, before February 1, 2013.

I propose that we pass a resolution opposing the Afghan War and, if we
do, send a news release to the area's media.

I'll write a first draft we can consider.
