The citizens of Arcata and Eureka voted on and passed a "Youth 
Protection Act"
which went into effect this past December 1-st that prohibits recruiters 
from
initiating contact with minors.

David Meserve will speak about the challenges of implementing the new 
city ordinances.
Not the least of which is a suit filed by the Department of Justice.

He will also conduct a brainstorming session to fill an 'idea toolbox' 
for people to use to
create counter-recruitment activities in their own communities.

The event will be held Saturday, March 7 at 4:00 PM
