[Sosfbay-discuss] holiday peace fair

I mailed in the check for a booth at the holiday peace fair and
let Joan Goddard, the primary organizer, know that I had sent the
check and posted a list of areas in which help was needed.

Here is her response, effectively a call for help.  Any volunteers?
List of tasks is at the bottom.

by Lois Fiedler by the first week of November?   Will look forward to 
info about which
Greens can help when with the overall work of putting on the HPF.     Joan G

I had written
The Green Party will be participating once again in this years Holiday 
Peace Fair.
Notices have been posted to our email discussion list re the help that 
is needed
to make it work.

Take your pick from
a)  a group member to attend the next planning meeting Saturday November 
14-th
b)  to help with publicity - in particular, but not limited to, to 
distribute flyers to
   group members who in turn will distribute the flyers to the general 
public
c)  to collect admission tickets ($2) for your group for your group 
members to sell
     in advance to your organization, friends, and beyond (libraries, 
bulletin boards, ...)
d) distribute flyers at the Campbell Farmers Market on Sunday morning, 
November 28
e)  *help on Saturday 12/5 at 8 AM with set-up of tables, posting of 
signs, etc.
*f)  clean up and put away after closing at 4 pm
g)  staffing the entrance table
h)  staffing the dessert table
i)  oversee volunteers who are working with children (one am, another pm)
