[GPSCC-chat] Fwd: Laura Wells would provide "real leadership."

Green Party members could, a least occasionally, tell newspapers to
which they subscribe to inform the public about ALL credible candidates
for state offices, not just Republicans and Democrats. If a dozen or
more Greens would contact the SF Chron. and/or the Merc. News, they may
just get the message. Thousands, probably tens of thousands, who vote
Green subscribe to daily newspapers, even though many get their news on
line. The media should be aware of that.

This email letter was sent to the SF Chronicle's "Letters to the
Editor," today.

I hope it will take.

Fred D.

P.S. We've got to take action or we won't get coverage.

In considering the "Waiting for real leadership" editorial in
Wednesday's (09/22/10) Chronicle, an alternative to the two candidates
on which the editorial focused deserves attention.

Laura Wells, a financial analyst, who is the Green Party candidate for
governor, is arguably the most qualified candidate in the race. She has
financial experience, she is bright, she has fortitude and she has
integrity. And she is free of dominant special interests.

It should be the Chronicle's responsibility to give Laura Wells equal
coverage to that which the two major party candidates are receiving. Her
bold plans for the welfare of California would add great substance to
the gubernatorial race.

Wells won't have millions of dollars to spend on advertising, but she
nevertheless deserves equal recognition to that which is given to the
other candidates.

Please give Laura Wells equal attention.
