[GPSCC-chat] Agenda Item & comments solicited re. recent MoveOn meetings?

I was at a meeting in Palo Alto on Sunday. There were
10 of us including the host. I mentioned that I was
Green during the intros. One person said she was interested
in knowing more. A couple said they were disappointed
to not see instant runoff voting as one of the options.

I have avoided all previous Moveon meetings. I was
willing to try this because Van Jones seems to be
leading it. I did like most of the 40 issue choices
we were voting for.

The list was pretty much what a New Deal Democrat would
like. There were only 2 items that were relevant to
climate change, and both were indirect.
- Move Toward a Clean, Green, Independent Energy Future
- No Subsidies for Dirty Energy
