[GPSCC-chat] Who would you like to see challenge Obama in 2012?

Jerry Brown is a born-again neocon in most things.
He wouldn't be any change from Larry Summers' surrogate, BH Obama.
Ask Hank Chapot about the show Brown put on with the Marines
invading Oakland to kill the terrorists.

Norman Solomon was one of the "progressive" pundits
who sold the "progressive" media on the reality
of "The Spoiler Effect" and the cosmic inevitability
of "The Two Party System." A "pundit" with no brain
of his own is a mouthpiece for the power elite. No thanks.

I'd *still* like to see us run Anita Hill.
She shares our values, she's smart and has good
political judgement, and she's even more qualified
for the job than Nader was. Which is why she
won't have anything to do with us, I suppose...

Considering the demonstrated value to the Green Party of
our presidential campaigns (zilch) over the last two decades,
maybe we should revisit running an American prisoner of
conscience as a pure protest vote. The Greens/Green Party USA
nominated Mumia Abu Jamal or Leonard Peltier in 2000,
I can't remember which. (Then they dumped him for Nader
when they saw how big the Denver convention was gonna be.)
Maybe we should run Bradley Manning. We could get
Daniel Ellsberg to stand in for him and make stump speeches.
I'd say James Hansen, who may well be a prisoner of conscience
if he keeps it up, but he's an employee of the federal govt
and therefore can't run for partisan office.
