First Holiday Peace Fair planning and decision meeting  THIS COMING 
SATURDAY,
October 1, at 10 AM at the San Jose Peace and Justice Center,

In order to get the flyer and other publicity started, we need to make 
at least two major
decisions at this meeting or VERY SOON afterwards. 
PLEASE SEND YOUR INPUT for the decision-making if you or someone else from
your organization cannot attend the meeting.

1) The best location and date we have found to have the HPF are the 
second floor
Great Room (huge) of SEIU Local 521 (county workers union) at 2302 
Zanker Road,
San Jose, on Saturday 12/10.

2) We need to decide on the beneficiary organizations (local and 
international). 
Last year we gave to four organizations total -- may go back to only two 
total if we can
agree on which two. Suggestions welcome -- before the meeting if your 
organization
cannot be represented this Saturday.

3) We'll also discuss the plan for entertainment and several other matters.
If you have any comments/ideas that may not have been included in your
organization's evaluation form after last year's HPF, please email those
