Dr. Michael E. Mann (Penn State) is one of the leading climate 
scientists.  He has long been the target of info-fascist attacks from 
well organized climate deniers... often orchestrated by the web site 
called Watts Up With That.   In his new book, Dr. Mann lays out the 
story of both the history of the hockey stick metaphor and of the 
attacks that followed.

I recommended purchase of this book for the Santa Clara County Library 
system and they have just ordered 4 copies.
