[GPSCC-chat] Why you should vote Yes on Prop 37

Hi, John and Susie:

SUSIE:

       1. John has seen it; I haven't. If I recall correctly, it's 90
minutes produced by one of the organizations behind Prop 37.

       2. Might it be feasible for you to contact your organization,
asking if they would co-sponsor a Prop 37 event to be held at the San
José Peace and Justice Center, Friday evening, Nov. 2, with you all
determining the agenda in conjunction with John Thielking and the Green
Party of Santa Clara County? The Santa Clara Greens have NOT approved
this yet, but it's a Green issue. Could you arrange for someone to come
with a specific proposal for such an event to our next monthly meeting,
Thursday, Oct. 25, 7 PM? It would be wise to circulate a draft through
our County Council (Thielking, myself, Jim Doyle, Drew Johnson, and
Merriam Kathaleen) before then.

JOHN: Could you please reply to Susie's questions? She's been working
in the Prop 37 campaign.

       Thanks,
       Spencer
