I provided a long post on this previously. Here's another one. The info is from the web site http://ballotopedia.org since I didn't see it on the Sec of State's web site (technically the Declaration of Candidacy Period is Feb 10-Mar 7 2014) or the GPCA site.

Governor:
Luis Rodriguez (b. 1954) is a Green Party candidate for Governor of California in the 2014 elections.

Lt. Gov: (no Greens)
Atty Gen: (no Greens)

Sec. of State:
David Scott Curtis (b. August 21, 1964 Las Vegas, NV) is a Green Party candidate for California Secretary of State in the 2014 election.[1] He was previously the 2010 Green Party candidate for Governor of Nevada.

Treasurer: (no Greens)

Controller:
Laura Wells (born January 2, 1948) was a Green Party candidate for the 2010 Governor’s race in the State of California. Wells is a former financial and business analyst, and political
activist in Oakland California. She supports making significant changes
to Proposition 13 and to the current super-majority voting rule in the Sacramento
legislature. In 2002 she garnered nearly a half million votes in her
run for California State Controller. [1]

earlier?  Also, who are the other active Green candidates at the
moment?  Marnie Glickman is running for a local office in Marin
County (a special election, I think, but I'm not sure).  Laura
Wells is running for Controller (http://laurawellssolutions.com).

Seems like we ought to host him or invite him to the GPSCC meeting or something. I think he is LA bases, but willing to come up here for us. Tian -------- Original Message --------

>>As many would PRESUMABLY know, the Green Party operates on a very limited budget, and as someone who spearheaded the Jill Stein California Campus Tour, even I had difficulty maintaining constant contact with the JS campaign.   I would hope that Greens understand that it is extremely difficult to hire part-time or full-time staff for a national campaign and that maintaining constant communication with the voluminous amounts of inquiries that come into a campaign becomes a monumental task.   Regardless, I am asking ALL Greens around the state to rally behind the candidacy of Luis Rodriguez in the hopes that we can bring in hundreds of thousands of new voters into the Green Party, especially all those tens of thousands of Latinos that are turning eighteen everyday. I need people to think BEYOND the normal parameters of what it means to be a Green and run as a Green. We need everyone to become involved!   Your friend, Edy Alvarez 818-336-2834

>>Here's the message I sent to Jill Stein on September 11, 2012:
>>Cheri was interviewed on KPFK here in Los Angeles tonight. She was
>>>really, really bad. Remember Sarah Palin?
                          Cheri was less prepared than
>>>Palin when McCain introduced her. Can someone
                          give her a crash
>>>course on the issues and on the Green Party's
                          platform and values?
>>>
>>I never heard Honkala interviewed again, and I never heard about another interview, but maybe she was great the next time. Another thing that bothered me deeply about the Stein campaign was that I never could get a response from anybody about anything I told them. One exception - I volunteered something and did not hear for weeks, so I had second thoughts and canceled the offer, and then after about 2 months someone contacted me, not knowing that I had canceled it.
