[GPSCC-chat] Fw: CA DISCLOSE Act - Palo Alto-San Mateo Working Group Meeting July 23rd

Might you have time to sign their new petition and mail it in to
them (www.caclean.org/content/pdf/ccmc_sb52_petition.pdf
<http://www.caclean.org/content/pdf/ccmc_sb52_petition.pdf>)?

Signatures collected last year were for AB-1648 in the 2011-2012
session. Legislators in the current session do not want to see those
old signatures, because they are for a bill that is NOT in the current
session. They want signatures that show the bill number, SB-52, in the
current 2013-2014 session. I got this information from a meeting last
Thursday at the Santa Clara County Democratic Party Headquarters. They
want to collect 250 new signatures per county (10,000 for the state)
each month until it passes. If you can print and sign the form and mail
it to the address on the bottom of the form, that would be great. (Of
course, it would even be better if you could collect other signatures.
However, do what you conveniently can. One signature on a form mailed
to them is better than none!)

       Thanks,
       Spencer
