We have more important stuff to focus on right now than worrying about my petty squabbles with Drew or Betsy over Peacemovies.  I will be at the meeting. I see we do have an item on global warming. The 9-25-13 Big Picture show at https://www.youtube.com/user/TheBigPictureRT has a rather depressing forecast of what we can expect in the next few years.  Skip over the lone liberal rumble in the first half of the program if you like. And Drew, TH doesn't use any insulting words in this episode of his show, so it is safe for you to watch, I think.

Hi John,
 
I don't know how others feel, but my personal inclination is to urge you to attend. I think we have a much better chance to work out a good policy in a face-to-face meeting than with emails, and the policy will be much better for your participation. Many of us have real or potential conflicts of interest on this issue (I know I do), and we won't have much of a discussion or much of a policy if we are all excluded.

In light of my conflict of interest on this item (literature policy), I will not be attending the meeting.  Feel free to make your decision without my input.  Be sure to post the decision details in the minutes as it will affect my future personal decisions about participating in the Green Party.  My own proposal that was presented to the County Council is withdrawn until after the "first stage" of this discussion. Thanks.
