Hello, All:


       Could you please call and / or email your supervisor asking they 
put on the June 10 Board of Sups agenda a measure to overturn Citizens 
United, as requested in an Op Ed by Richard Hobbs in today's Mercury 
(http://www.mercurynews.com/News/ci_25873870/Citizens-United:-Santa-Clara-County-should)? 



       I just sent an email to my Supervisor (Yeager 
<supervisor.yeager at bos.sccgov.org>), and I plan to call later to ask.  
(If you're not sure of your Supervisor, you can get that information 
from the web site of the Santa Clara County Registrar of Voters -> "Look 
up your districts" (http://eservices.sccgov.org/rov/?tab=dt;  "Your 
supervisorial district" was the third item on the list when I did it 
just now).

Amend Santa Clara campaign as an op ed in today's newspaper (see

Please call all five Supervisors today and ask that the request of 
/Build Democracy End Corporate Rule/ to go before county voters in 
November be agendized at the June 10 meeting of the Board of Supervisors.

We need elections, not auctions; corporations are not persons under 
the US constitution.  We are tired of corporate control and we want our 
democracy and our sovereignty as residents of Santa Clara County and of 
the United States.
