Dear Santa Clara County Greens,      
   
    The local Green Party of Santa Clara County still has openings for delegates to the California Green Party General Assembly to be held in San Jose on June 27 and 28. To apply for appointment as a delegate by the County Council, please contact Warner Bloomberg at 408-295-9353 or     wb4d23 at aol.com    . People should also contact Warner if they are willing and able to offer space in their homes to host out of town Greens the Assembly and/or for the entire June 24-28 United States Social Forum that is taking place in San Jose June 24-28, 2015   
      
    The US Social Forum is an exciting opportunity to publicize and build the Green Party while being part of a unique gathering of social movement leaders from all around the West Coast of the United States. The Social Forum will be taking place simultaneously in Philadelphia as well as in San Jose. California Green Party members will be participating at the San Jose site, and the Green Party General Assembly will also be held in San Jose on June 27 and 28 in conjunction with the Social Forum activities.    
      
    Full information and links to the US Social Forum web site will be sent in a follow-up email.   
      
    Participants may register for all or part of the five-day US Social Forum at the reduced rate of $20 apiece as part of their Green Party General Assembly registration at     https://cagreens.nationbuilder.com/reg_ga_jun2015?utm_campaign=ga_2015_sj_agr2&utm_medium=email&utm_source=cagreens    .  However, they must register by Friday June 5 to receive this group rate. If they choose, people may register separately for the Forum at the standard individual rate of $50 as late as the day they arrive, either online at     https://www.ussocialforum.net/register/individual     or at the Forum site. For those who cannot afford the full rate, there will be volunteer opportunities that will allow you to register at reduced rates or for free.
