BIOS:

Amy Johnson is the Co-Executive Director of the US Federation of Worker
Cooperatives, the national membership organization for worker
cooperatives and democratic workplaces. She previously held the position
of Membership & Advocacy Director since starting with the USFWC in 2012.
She comes to the worker cooperative community after almost a decade of
professional work for non-profit social justice membership organizations
and political campaigns, as well as a term as a board member for her
local food co-op while living outside Philadelphia. She has her MPA in
Sustainable Management from Presidio Graduate School in San Francisco,
where her graduate research focused on understanding the potential role
of the public sector in advancing the worker cooperative business model
as an important economic development strategy. Living in Oakland, CA
with her fiance, when she's not working you’ll likely find her hiking
the redwoods with her puppies.
