Dear Greens,

The deadline for your KPFA ballot _to arrive_ at the processing center
in Eugene, Oregon is Friday, December 4th. We therefore recommend that
it be mailed prior to (or by) this _Saturday, November 28th_. But then,
_starting on November 28th, we recommend that you __vote via the
internet, online -- by using __the password listed in the cover letter_
enclosed with your ballot! (If you want, you can _/also/_ mail in your
ballot -- but after November 28th, it becomes increasingly less likely
that mailed ballots will be able to arrive in Eugene, Oregon by the
December 4th deadline. In addition, whatever you do, please keep the
cover letter with your password, so we can verify that your ballot was
received).

_However, if you never received your ballot_ (of if you need a
replacement ballot), you should immediately fill out the form here:
http://elections.pacifica.org/wordpress/ballot-request-form/ _and also
notify_ both the KPFA Local Election Supervisor, Nelsy Batista, at
510-629-1458, kpfa-les at pacifica.org <mailto:kpfa-les at pacifica.org>and
the National Elections Supervisor, L. Joy Williams, at 347-699-2914,
nes at pacifica.org <mailto:nes at pacifica.org> If you'd like to let UCR know
about your "voting situation", please contact them at:
united4communityradio at yahoo.com or 510-705-2536.

*_The Alameda, Contra Costa, and San Francisco county Green Parties have
all endorsed the /United for Community Radio/ candidates_**:*
Scott Olsen
Janet Kobren
Jeremy Miller
Marilla Argüelles
(G.) Mario Fernandez
Sharon Adams
Don Macleay
Virginia Browning
T. M. Scruggs

These UCR candidates have
-- protected undocumented people from ICE,
-- created and managed non-profits,
-- sailed to break the siege of Gaza by sea,
-- been the executive producer of TheRealNews.com,
-- edited a book of work by Pelican Bay inmates,
-- worked for the victims of police violence in black and brown communities,
-- worked in media other than KPFA,
-- in the case of Don Macleay, helped to build the Oakland Green Party,
and worked hands-on with the Sandinistas for 5 years,
-- in the case of Scott Olsen, continued unwaveringly to support Iraq
Veterans Against the war even after being seriously injured by a police
canister during a protest,
-- and much more.

These UCR candidates have great ideas for positive upgrades at KPFA.
Read their statements and get inspired.
