[GPCA Updates] GREEN PARTY - Help analyze the state propositions!

 Dear Greens,       

We still urgently need a few volunteers to read
and analyze one or more of the upcoming state propositions, and
write-up brief recommendations over the next few weeks (one or two
paragraphs per proposition will be fine!  The text of the
propositions is available via:
http://www.ss.ca.gov/elections/elections_j.htm )).  

The propositions
that we especially need help with are the financial ones:  most of
the bonds, taxes, and investment or trust funds that will be on this
November's ballot.  (I have listed their titles directly
below).       

After a quick review by the state party Campaigns and
Candidates Working Group (CCWG), the recommendations will go to the
county parties for county-by-county polling, towards a state party
position on this November's statewide propositions.       

Ideally,
you will be able to finish your work by the end of this month (or by
August 4 at the latest!), and post your brief summary of the
proposition, analysis, and recommendation to our CCWG listserve (
email it to:  gpca-ccwg at marla.cagreens.org ).

[Note:  If you were planning
to review any of the state propositions not listed above anyway,
feel free to post your analysis and recommendations to the CCWG
listserve as soon as possible.  But in the meantime, please DO
volunteer to help out on one or more of the above, as thus far, we
do not yet have any volunteers at all for the propositions listed
above!  Thank you!]
