I am voting this way:

Propositions:

NO on 83. It's very important to oppose this outrageous law 'n order
crackdown on porn readers, exhibitionists, 18-year olds having sex with
17 year olds, anyone whose girl or boyfriend decides to report you for
"date rape," etc. This measure does not discriminate between any kind of
"sex offense" and is an attack on our sexual freedom. Any offender past,
present or future is banned from any CA city for life and must wear a
GPS device for life. This is insane. It will cost millions and encourage
real sex offenders not to register.
84- YES
85- NO
86- yes
87- YES. There may be some problems with the measure (who approves its
"bonds" besides the commission itself?), but the oil companies don't
need the money and we do. The slogan "not required to produce results"
is absurd. It's going to take time and of course we don't know exactly
what's going to happen. The "bureaucrats" aren't given life terms to
produce these "results."
88- no. This parcel tax is basically a tax on renters, since homeowners
are exempt. It is not progressive either, since it is the same for each
property.
89- YES. Not perfect, but we need to get busy on taking money out of
politics. I think it is pretty generous to Greens and other third
parties. We could do a LOT with half as much as what the Dems and Reps
get. It could help us get to 10%, after which we would get equal funds.

90- NO. This has been called a "nuclear bomb" on zoning laws. This is
not eminent domain protection, which I would favor. This forces
taxpayers to refund anyone who thinks a zoning law reduces the value of
their property. It would make Measure A unworkable. This and 83 are the
worst measures I've seen on the ballot in many years, if ever.

I'm voting for Cindy Chavez, Mike Honda, Peter Camejo (Angelides lost me
by wavering on Jessica's Law (Prop 83) and Health care), Bowen (she's
strong on protecting our voting rights), Cretien, and other Greens (I
may vote for Garamendi because I like him and he does good work; it's a
tight race with the right-wing McClintock).

People in Pombo's district and anyone concerned about the worst
president in our history BY FAR should work for McNerney. I am.

I am voting and working for Measure A.

Eric the Green
