For those of you who are Bay Area residents, there is a great Green Building Event Tomorrow evening (Tues. 5/12) from 5:30-8:30 pm in Santa Clara, the Silicon Valley Chapter of the US Green Building Council will host a birthday celebration and green building expo at Santa Clara University.  Vox Design Group and Reliance Management Group will have a booth at the Green Building Expo, there will also be the opportunity to tour the Santa Clara University Solar Decathlon house Project;
 

Silicon Valley Branch 1st Birthday Celebration & Green Building Expo - May 12, 2009 
USGBC-NCC Silicon Valley Branch celebrates its one year anniversary next Tuesday, May 12th, with an exhibition to showcase some of our local Green Resources.
Chapter Executive Director Dan Geiger will be on hand for the cake-cutting ceremony and a special climate change delgation from the Australian State of Victoria will be attending to share information about green building best practices and opportunities in Australia.
At this event, you will have opportunities to:

Learn about some of Silicon Valley's sustainable builders and products;
Visit booths showcasing the diversity and depth of Silicon Valley green industry;
Network with others interested in a sustainable future;
