[GPSCC-chat] Need More GPSCC Plenary Delegates and Alternates (LA Dec 3-4)

Folks!  At  this time we have three GPSCC Delegates  to the next GPCA 
General Assembly of Delegates scheduled for Los Angeles  Saturday-Sunday December 
3rd-4th.  See details at cagreens.org/ga and links  on the left side of the 
page (go to December 2011 then choices of agenda,  registration. etc.).  
Our three delegates at this time are myself, Merriam  and Tian.  Typically, 
our county is allocated four delegate votes; it could  go up to five depending 
how the numbers are/were crunched (last I knew, that was  still being done).
 
I know it is the same weekend as the San Jose Peace  Fair...  If anyone 
else is willing to volunteer to be a delegate or  alternate, please contact one 
of our County Council members (Tian, Caroline or  Andrea).  Tian has 
volunteered to submit our delegates and alternates names  to the agenda planning 
committee; the deadline is Wednesday November  30th.
 
According to information from the local host committee, there  will be 
floor space  in the community room/gym at the church  where the Plenary will be 
held for sleeping and avoiding hotel expenses (bring  your own pad and 
sleeping bag).
 
Last heard at last night's general membership meeting, Tian  and Merriam 
were planning on traveling by Greyhound, so if someone else is going  and 
driving they are potential passengers...
