SB 843 allows utility customers who are renters, or who do not have an 
appropriate roof for hosting solar panels, to invest in or lease a 
portion of a shared solar facility in their region. Investors receive 
the credit from their share of the electricity produced, as if the 
panels were located on their own rooftops. SB 843 is similar to 
Colorado's Community Solar Gardens Act and Washington's Community Solar 
Enabling Act.

This program will feature:
