At least 24 Greens running in November 2013 elections

Based upon a review of the qualified candidates lists from  
California's county registrars of voters for November 2013 elections  
and comparing that to the Green Party's voter registration list, it  
appears at least 24 California Greens will be running in November  
elections. Of the 24, twelve will be running unopposed, including  
seven of the ten incumbents seeking re-election.

Combined with three California Green victories in spring 2013  
elections http://www.cagreens.org/elections/2013-spring, the total  
number of California Greens elected in 2013 will be at least 15, which  
would be an all-time state high of victories in an odd-numbered year,  
when there are fewer races contested. The previous high was 11 in both

At least 27 Greens are running in all of 2013, the second highest  
annual total to the 28 who ran in 2003, and a substantial increase  
over the 13 who ran in 2009 and the 8 in 2007.
