[GPSCC-chat] Thanksgiving in Curry County, OR

Curry Fair Friends, a non-profit group, puts on a free thanksgiving buffet in a hall at the
county fairgrounds in Gold Beach.  People can make a financial contribution if they wish.  
People can volunteer if they wish.  (I washed pots.)  There are candles on the table, 
tablecloths, china, silverware, glass goblets.  There are lots of paying customers, it 
avoids the the whole soup kitchen stigma, and a good time is had by all.  It's a great 
community-builder.  The first year they served a hundred, the second year over two 
hundred, and this third year three hundred and sixty-two were served.
